Saunter, Explore and Connect: Alberta Nature Walks

From June 1 to October 1, 2024 I will be exploring, observing, and responding to the ecosystems in Calgary and surrounding areas to continue to create work that addresses mental health and recovery. I will be going for an extended walk nearly every weekend, and I’m inviting other artists or anyone else interested in joining me!

My exploration will encompass a variety of unique environments including:

  • Drumheller- 2 times minimum

  • Fish Creek Park- 2 times minimum

  • Nose Hill Park- 3 times minimum

  • Elk Island

  • Waterton

  • Writing-on-Stone / Áísínai'pi

  • Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump World Heritage Site

  • Chevron Learning Pathway at Prince’s Island Park

  • Bowness - Baker Park Loop

  • Glenmore Reservoir Loop

  • Twelve Mile Coulee

  • Inglewood Bird Sanctuary
